I brought these hats home in 2015 after my dad died.
They have moved about in my office ever since. Going from corner to shelf to box to the floor, etc.
In other words, just occupying space. Yes, I’d like to keep my dad in my thoughts, and maybe when I’m older I’ll regret it. I just don’t want them, and if I hadn’t seen them that night at home in Virginia, my mom would have chucked them the next day.
So, goodbye hats. My dad wore ya proudly, maybe someone here in Raleigh will too…
